INTRODUCTION
Following the successful launching of this event in Phuket in February 2009, the 2nd International Conference on Future of The Palm Oil Business 2010, is scheduled to take place from 18 - 20 October 2010 at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Malaysian International Palm Oil Expo 2010 will be held alongside with this Conference at the same venue from 18 - 19 October 2010.
The event aims to create a sustainable platform for the industry players to exchange information, ideas, and experience among producer and consumer on Palm Oil products. It also provides a unique opportunity to review the advances in Palm Oil development and to analyze the future of the Palm Oil business especially on the global supply, demand, threats, opportunities and investments.
PALMOIL BUSINESS 2010 is arranged to be a “one stop event” for the palm oil stakeholders to promote the industry and develop networking. It consists of 6 programs, which includes : conference, exhibition, a gala dinner, Malaysian palm oil awards and a field visit.
The conference itself is expected to be attended by more than 600 participants from around the world from various sectors of the Palm Oil industry; businessmen, scientist up to government representative in Palm Oil industry. As usual, the exhibition will be part of the event to show the new products, services and technologies related to the industry.
The first Malaysian Palm Oil Awards aims to recognise outstanding players in the Malaysian Palm Oil industry and will be held in conjunction with this event. The Awards will be presented during the gala dinner on 19 October 2010.
This event is organised by Asif International (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and PT Bimatama Inka, Indonesia. Both the companies have organised many Palm Oil events in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand during the last 4 years.
